I have been loving Wilderness since I was 4 years old. Now in my late 40’s it is nice to share it with my grandkids. I met my amazing husband here when we were 12 years old. The great friendships I made here and the memories are just wonderful. The activities are amazing the grandkids love the kids camp they have. But mostly I feel so safe to be able to come down knowing the amazing Security that they have. They are very professional very helpful and I feel very safe to be able to stay down by myself. It’s a great place an experience for anybody and everybody to enjoy.

I stayed as a guest over the Memorial Day weekend. It was my first time and it was amazing. I couldnt believe that we didn’t encounter any flies the whole weekend. We enjoyed meals on the front porch, relaxed in the rocking chairs. The other guest/members rode by and waive as they passed. Security was always driving by. I felt very safe. I will remember this experience the rest of my life.

We held our wedding at the lodge and it was an amazing place with great atmosphere. The staff members we dealt with were beyond helpful and friendly. We will definitely recommend the venue to our friends and if we ever get a camper this will be on our list of places to stay.

This is a wonderful place to have peace and unwind and all the fun and activities they offer with most for free or a few dollars. It is a very nice clean camping site with the three pools with one inside where you can go swim in the middle of winter. They have all kinds of activities like egg dying for Easter and the egg hunt, a hayride at Halloween, all sorts of Christmas stuff to do like make crafts, Breakfast with Santa, […] and the staff could not be nicer. There is a country store and hand dipped ice cream. Sitting around a campfire with family and friends making s’mores, well there isn’t anything like it. If you have not been there than you should check it out, the memberships are not that much and the yearly dues and reasonable. The bathhouses are clean and heated in winter. A really nice place and you can keep your camper in storage if you want and let the office know a couple weeks in advance that you want your camper put on a lot and if it is available you can ask for your camper to be put on a lot you prefer.
